Beautiful flowers from a beautiful person sent to me earlier this week but are so appropriate for this Easter Season.

It is so Great to know we do have a risen Savior and he lives!!!

Some of the young people from the Triad Christian School down in front singing today at the Easter Service.
Hope all of you had a Great Easter.

Klamath Falls Craft Fair

Well the Klamath Falls Charming Chicks got together and baked many many goodies to sell at the craft fair.
We made a bakes so many good yummy things. We had lemon blossoms, huge choc. chip cookies, fudge, brownies, cupcakes, peanut brittle, popcorn balls, nano bars, Homemade Breads and crochet items, .  This is Gail, Judy and Robin.

Judy is showing off some of the Aprons she has made.

This is Kathy, My Weight Loss Challenge coach and Herbalife Distributor.
She also Chairs the Innovative Women of Klamath Falls.

It is so tempting but I didn't eat any of these goodies and stuck to my diet.
We were only there from 10am to about 3:30 pm and we raise 308.00  Thanks to all who brought goodies to sell and who gave of their time.

New stuff at Saturday Sampler

Last weeks Saturday Sampler meeting at Tater Patch Quilts was fun as always.  Robin puts on many hats and faces as she goes through her "Thats Awsome" stories and funny quips.
I think she missed her calling as an actress but instead she owns a quilting store with her partner Diane.

This beautiful hummingbird table top was made by Julie Ann who also belongs to Pelican Piecemakers.  She does beautiful work as you can see.

This was a wonderful sampler and is one of my personal favorites that I would love to have on a guest bed.
This pillow was made in layers and has that 3 dimensional look.  I am getting the patter.  I can't wait to make some of these.
This quilt was colored by children in a safe village in Somalia and each picture was put into a quilt.  The children were young all the way to high school and will be exchanged to children in hospitals in Belgium.
Great Rooster and the hand quilting is exceptional.  She made several for wall hangings
This is yours truly after losing 43 pounds and on my way to lose more!!!!!

This is robin in a mystery mode. sorry for being so blury

What a Find

Look at this quilt!  One of our members found it at a local thrift shop here in Klamath falls and bought it along with another for 25 each.  This is an old all handmade and handquilted one that she will now clean and restore.  Wow, what a find, I don't have such luck

Billy Bird and Mom brush calves

Billy Bird and Mom brush calves
grooming Cheech and Chong to keep them friendly has become a daily chore. The calves now are about 350 pounds and were starting to not want our company so now I brush them and have created a monster with Cheech. I have discovered he loves apples and carrots. Chong however wont even smell the goodies. Now Cheech stands in front of the front porch moowing at me for his treats. After I give him his treats it is hard to get back to the house and he is very determined to find more in my pockets.
