grooming Cheech and Chong to keep them friendly has become a daily chore. The calves now are about 350 pounds and were starting to not want our company so now I brush them and have created a monster with Cheech. I have discovered he loves apples and carrots. Chong however wont even smell the goodies. Now Cheech stands in front of the front porch moowing at me for his treats. After I give him his treats it is hard to get back to the house and he is very determined to find more in my pockets.
San Francisco native relocated to Oregon after living in the California Sierra Nevadas in Amador County and raising 3 children.
I always loved horses and rode and showed and barrel raced when living on the California coast as a kid. Even though I was from the city my best times were in the country at Grandpas house and I'm a county gal at heart. Love living in the country, having animals and gardening. Right now I have an African Grey named Billy Bird. He is quite entertaing. I have a shi-tzu named Gidget and 2 calves I have raised since 3 days old.
We are the Klamath Falls Charming Chicks and we have so much fun. Check us out and come join us.
my newest addiction
beautiful quilting
A few of my favorite things
I have always enjoyed sewing and now I am into quilting. I have several projects going on and I'm making some things for my daughter. I also crochet. I made 22 skull caps that were given to the cancer center along with others the Charming Chicks donated. I also made afgans for grandchildren. I love horses as I mentioned so here are a couple of pictures I liked.

my happy California calves as babies
Billy Bird
my singing , talking, and dancing boy
Billy has a huge vocabulary. He whistles the Adams Family Theme song and he always says bye bye I gotta go to work now whenever he sees me put on a coat or grab the truck keys. He also does the cat, duck and chicken along with many other things. He used to call the dog into the house in my voice and the dog would run in and look at me like what? Billy would laugh and laugh
